For the second consecutive year, Cyclonix designed and managed VMware Virtualization Forum, a road tour that brings education, best practices, and peer interaction to VMware clients and prospects across the country.

Woodberry Events, the event producer, relied on Cyclonix to act as property designer, general contractor, onsite services manager, and logistical coordinator. In this role, Cyclonix designed and managed the sponsor pavilion for this full-day event-helping VMware reach between 500 and 2,000 attendees in 13 key markets. Not only did Cyclonix design branded rental kiosks that gave the event a strong VMware brand identity, it designed the kiosks to be lightweight and easy to install. These attributes, paired with Cyclonix's expertise, have enabled the Cyclonix management team to accelerate set-up and tear-down time and reduce VMware's overall operating budget.

Cyclonix also designed and built a custom lightweight registration solution which increases brand awareness in the registration area and does double duty as a canvas to promote the launch of VMwear's new product, Vsphere.

Salesforce.com is an advocate of cloud computing-a style of computing where applications and services reside on servers, and users access those applications as services provided over the internet. At Dreamforce, its annual Users Group Conference, Cyclonix reiterated the cloud computing message through consistent theme decor that visually unified the entire event.

Throughout the event, attendees encountered welcome kiosks, directional signage and banners emblazoned with cloud graphics. Salesforce.com's own exhibit, also designed and managed by Cyclonix, integrated cloud-themed counters and graphics. As a whimsical touch, Cyclonix added a few "cloud chairs"-white beanbags where weary visitors could sit to discuss what they'd experienced.

In addition to keynotes and breakout sessions, attendees frequented a Cyclonix designed and managed partner pavilion where they could explore how various partner offerings integrate with the salesforce.com platform.

Cyclonix Hits the Road
with ArthroCare

The time poverty of its clients is an issue ArthroCare Corp. deals with daily. The orthopedic surgeons who use ArthroCare's surgical instruments barely see their families, let alone have time to try out and train on new instruments. So when the physicians couldn't come to ArthroCare, ArthroCare went to the surgeons.

ArthroCare tapped Cyclonix to give its vision wheels. Cyclonix worked closely with the ArthroCare team to develop a mobile surgical suite inside of a 59-foot trailer. The custom interior-which featured five operating stations-was equipped with the equipment and tools the doctors needed to participate hands-on in real surgeries. There were even monitors and fiber optic feeds that enabled the physicians to see exactly what was happening inside of the body part they were operating on.

ArthroCare's mobile surgical lab went right to the hospitals-enabling the physicians to visit at their convenience. At the end of the nine month, Cyclonix-managed tour ArthroCare had visited 90 hospitals-and trained over 900 physicians.

Cyclonix Turns Three

Time really does fly when you're having fun. April marked our third anniversary, so once again we celebrated with a company-wide luncheon and employee awards ceremony.

This year, we had a lot to celebrate, posting 41% growth for the fiscal year despite the pressures of recession. "Our employees' ongoing commitment to providing clients with great service and quality products has fueled our continued success," says Pete Gallager, v.p. of design.

Summers, Lopez, and Rojas

Summers, Lopez, and Rojas Honored This year three employees received awards of distinction:

Gloria Rojas, sales account manager, was named Employee of the Year for consistently providing service, innovation, and plain old hard work.

Adam Lopez, who joined the Cyclonix production department in 2008, won the Rookie of the Year award in recognition of his "whatever-it-takes" attitude.

Yvette Summers, an account manager in the portable exhibit division, received The Murphy award. Named in memory of industry and Cyclonix friend Joe Murphy, this award honors an employee who exhibits a sense of humor and has fun while getting the job done.
